Award Winning Designer

Originally from Milan, Italy, Elena Lenzi Beswick is the creative force behind The Space Whisperer, a Cheshire-based interior design and architectural studio.

Raised in a family of architects and property developers, Elena’s passion for design began at a young age. Her career started as an award-winning yacht designer in Italy, where she mastered the art of transforming compact spaces into luxurious havens.

Now based in Cheshire, Elena brings her innovative vision and meticulous attention to detail to architectural and interior design projects for homes, commercial spaces, and more. A client once dubbed her "The Space Whisperer" for her rare ability to connect with a room and unlock its full potential - hence the name of our studio.

Elena’s talent for blending form and function is backed by her credentials as a Registered Architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and an Accredited Interior Designer by the Society of British Interior Design (SBID). These qualifications ensure that every project is handled with precision, professionalism, and care. When not transforming spaces, Elena enjoys exploring the Cheshire countryside with her husband, Anthony.

Our 30-minute discovery call (via Zoom) is your first step towards a taking control of your space. During the call, we’ll discuss your vision, explore possibilities, and answer any questions. You’ll leave the session feeling inspired and ready to take the next step.

Site Visit

Defining Your Brief
Our site visit is an opportunity to walk through your space and uncover its potential. Together, we’ll define a clear, inspiring brief that lays the foundation for your dream design.

3.

Submit Proposal

Transparent Fees.
After the site visit, we’ll present a detailed proposal outlining the costs for each phase of the project. Once approved, we’ll conduct a comprehensive dimensional survey to create precise 2D drawings, capturing every detail of your space.

4.

Concept Design

Where our vision takes shape.
Using our survey as a foundation, we craft detailed floor plans and elevations that enhance flow, functionality, and beauty. We carefully research furnishings, materials, and lighting, integrating bespoke elements to bring your concept to life.
5.

Presentation

Experience your space.
We’ll present your concept design through mood boards, 2D plans, and - if specified - 3D renders and CGI images. These tools help you visualise your space and make confident decisions about every detail.

6.

Detailed Design

Comprehensive plans for execution.
Once the concept is approved, we’ll create detailed specifications covering joinery, lighting layouts, tile patterns, and finishes. These documents allow tradespeople to cost and execute your project with precision.
7.

Sourcing & Procurement

Streamlining every detail.
We’ll handle sourcing and procurement for furnishings, materials, and accessories, leveraging our network of trusted suppliers to secure exclusive pieces at competitive prices. We’ll manage deliveries and installations, so you don’t have to.

Ongoing Support

Guidance every step of the way.
We understand that bringing a design to life involves more than just beautiful plans. From site visits and quality checks to coordinating with suppliers and tradespeople, we act as your trusted partner, providing guidance and expertise at every stage. We're here to ensure your design is fully realised and that you're delighted with the final result.
9.

Fittings & Completion

The Finishing Touches.
As we approach the final stages of your project, we’ll bring everything together with a detailed list of all the furniture, furnishings, lighting, artwork, and accessories we’ve carefully chosen for your space. We work with a wide range of trusted brands and skilled makers, including our own bespoke manufacturers, to source unique pieces. Plus, we pass on exclusive savings to our project clients, which often offset the cost of our design fees.
